Five Nines Company provided Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning services to achieve a LEED Silver certification for the Williamsburg Municipal building. The renovated municipal facility is an approximately 40,000 SF, three-story building that included the renovation of 23,000 SF and an addition of 16,500 – all while remaining operational and serving the public. To do so, renovations were completed floor by floor to minimize disruptions and staff members were moved to swing spaces and or new areas. The renovation/addition increased the existing building by 70%, yet reduced energy costs by approximately 20% overall.
